Within this use case systematic monitoring or on-demand analysis of drought conditions using Earth Observation data combined with climatic time series analysis will be provided.
The work will be focused on generating drought indices through anomaly detection derived from climatologies and measurements from Copernicus Sentinel satellites and other sensors; and it will serve to produce a combined drought index based on the Global Drought Index (GDI).
